Frank DeMasi, otherwise known as MAGICFRANK® is founder, CEO and president of MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC. He started MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC on the principle of producing magic how-to videos that offer children a multi-sensory experience. We strive to create videos that give enjoyment and are entertaining. We believe children will be more encouraged to learn while having fun. Frank has more than three decades of practical magic skills and a decade of teaching magic. To date, the celebrated and seasoned magician, a student of the art of magic since age six, has performed at close to 11,000 events. Some of his many satisfied clients include hospital pediatric wards, Cerebral Palsy centers, schools, police departments, video and toy stores and a professional baseball team.

A member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Society of American Magicians, MAGICFRANK also teaches his craft through after-school enrichment programs, private lessons, lectures and through his award-winning DVD series. He performs and teaches in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maryland.

Frank DeMasi has many honors; Consumer Reports named MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC in their "BEST GIFTS" for 2004 and BEST GIFTS 2003. MAGICFRANK has been interviewed dozens of times this past year. MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC were also recommended in a story this February in Readers Digest. MAGICFRANK also appeared on the CBS News Morning edition and was featured on Community Corner a number of times.

Of course the many awards received by MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC, June 2006 Creative Child Magazine awards "THE MORE MAGIC 4 FUN DVD" with DVD OF THE YEAR AWARD (Interactive DVD's for Kids category). In July of 2005, Creative Child Magazine awards MAGICFRANK with 3 awards; a "2005 PREFERRED CHOICE" award for MAGIC 4 FUN DVD and two "SEAL OF EXCELLENCE" awards one for KEY TO CARD MAGIC and the other for Believe In Magic! Believe In Yourself! Magic YOU CAN DO!. May 2004 PARENTS' CHOICE graced him with a RECOMMENDED AWARD for THE MAGIC 4 FUN DVD. In March 2004, KIDS FIRST!®, The Coalition of Quality Children's Media, awarded MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC their highest award the ALL STAR AWARD for The first DVD THE MAGIC 4 FUN VIDEO DVD, MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC also received an Endorsed award for "THE KEY TO CARD MAGIC the second DVD. In July 2003, PARENTS' CHOICE, bestowed the Recommended Award twice, once for "THE VANISHING VIDEO" and later that month for "THE TAPERED DECK" VIDEO. January 2003, KIDS FIRST!®, The Coalition of Quality Children's Media, Endorsed MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC video series', "THE TAPERED DECK" and "THE VANISHING VIDEO" which are now available. In March 2003 MAGICFRANK was named "The Official Magician" of The Newark Bears professional baseball team for the fourth consecutive year. In February 2002, KIDS FIRST!®, The Coalition of Quality Children's Media, endorsed MAGICFRANK'S LESSONS IN MAGIC video series', "THE SVENGALI DECK" and "MAGIC 4 FUN". In March 2002 Parents' Choice also awarded both videos a recommended award.

In addition, MAGICFRANK has been featured in many Newspapers and performed at KIDS FIRST! ® 2002, 2003 and 2004 film festivals, held in New York City and throughout the tri-state area.

Prior to performing full time as a magician, Frank DeMasi worked in Law Enforcement for Essex County Sheriff's Office. He became an EMT and volunteered for the West Orange, NJ First Aid Squad and for The University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Additionally, DeMasi served as an instructor in CPR and First Aid for Saint Barnabas Health Care Systems in Livingston, NJ.
